Swedish Stamps
I was kindly gifted some Swedish stamps, they are beautifully printed with tiny detail and I really appreciate the beauty in their design.
I have created some lovely paintings with these enchanting scenes using oil paint and watercolour paints,
The Pied Avocet wading birds with a rocky riverside foreground are on the Sverige 130 stamp, 1978, Carl Linne 6v.
The orange tones of the landscape Sverige 30 stamp shows Rocky Isles in Bloom, by Harald Lindberg, circa 1967.
The riverside scene of the Sverige 95 stamp has a musical scale printed onto the stamp, 1977 Music 5v,

This is such a cute image of these Polar Bears and this beautiful stamp is one of my favourites!
